The SWPFFA Membership Headlines is a tool for your Union Leadership to communicate to the membership, recent and updated information regarding SWPFFA.  These headlines can be viewed without logging into the website.  Each of these headlines are separated by horizontal line breaks, and contain direct links to further headline information and point of contact(s).  To follow further headline information links, website login is required.  Please make note of the destination of these links, as the headlines are only available for view for a limited time.  As new information becomes available, old headlines will replaced by newer headlines.

Why was the September 6th GM Meeting rescheduled?...

After booking the meeting room a month in advance, I arrived early to setup for the meeting on the 6th.  Upon my arrival, I was informed that due to a scheduling error on the part of the Walton Chamber, the room was double booked.  As they are kind enough not to charge for the use of this meeting room, there wasn't really anything I could do about that.  However, the lady there felt bad about the error, and made numerous calls to locations in the area for a last minute booking.  Nobody is perfect, but I did appreciate her going the extra mile for us.  I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and appreciate your patience and flexibility.  Hope to see you on the September 14th.

Robert's Rules FAQ Page Added...

A new Member Resource Page has been added under the Library heading (page left), entitled Official Robert's Rules of Order (RONR) Precedence of Motions & FAQ.  This page has the top 20, or so, frequently asked questions about Robert's Rules of Order (our adopted Parliamentary Authority/Process).  As well, you will find the Robert's Rules of Order (RONR) Precedence of Motions, and a link to the Official RONR website, that contains more information about RONR, like the History, Official Interpretations, Q&A Forum, and more.

 New IAFF Sticker Selections & *Mass Sticker Order...

The SWPFFA Member at Large has established with a new sticker vendor.  To view the sticker selection files, please visit the new Member Resource page, entitled SWPFFA Store (page left). 

*Currently the SWPFFA is taking orders for stickers from the new Series Lists.  The deadline to order stickers in this mass order, is 15AUG10.  Cash payment is expected upon delivery. For each sticker style, please email the following information to Chris Powell at memberatlarge@local3516.com:
